16. May Chang (Litsea cubeba - Indonesia)

May Chang or called "Litsea Cubeba" is native to China. The lemon-scented oil is extracted from the fruits and very rich in citral with some linalol. Litsea cubeba is valuable in skin care as it is non-irritant, very antiseptic and effective in treating oily skin, acne and spots with no risk of phtosensitivity, it's widely used as a replacement of citrus oils in facial application. It reduces excessive perspiration and it's refreshing scent can be used as a very good deodorant. Being antiseptic and deodorising, May Chang is very suitable to use as an air-refreshener.

17. Spearmint (Mentha spicata - South Africa)

Spearmint has a dual action by cooling when hot and warming when cold. This makes it a good remedy for colds by halting mucus and fevers and encouraging perspiration, useful in respiratory disorders generally as well as dry coughs and sinus congestion. It has a relaxing and slightly anesthetic effect on stomach muscles, may be helpful for kidney and liver disorders. 18. Valerian Root 10% (Valeriana officinalis - Nepal)

Valerian has been highly esteemed since medieval times, and used to be called "all heal". It has been used for a variety of complaints, especially where there is nervous tension or restlessness, such as insomnia, migraine, dysmenorrhea, intestinal colic, rheumatism, and as a pain reliever. It has ability to relax the central nervous system and the smooth muscle groups. 19. Bay West Indian (Pimenta racemosa - India)

Bay is one of the best essential oils to use as a hair tonic. Bay stimulates the scalp, helps to eliminate and prevent dandruff, and restores body and tone to oily and damaged, lifeless hair. 30. Lavandin (Lavandula hybrida grosso - France)

Lavandin is a hybrid between True Lavender and Spike Lavender.
