Tuberose is a tender perennial with large, white, fragrant flowers resembling lilies. It is among the most expensive of the floral absolutes, but is highly valued for its wonderful scent. It has heavy, sweet, floral, slightly spicy top notes and sensuous, radiant, honeyed undertones. It blends beautifully with the other floral and citruses and enhances oriental and floral perfumes. Vanilla absolute is extracted from the beans, originally grown and cultivated in Madagascar. The absolute is a viscous, dark brown liquid with a rich, sweet, balsamic odor. It is suitable for use as a fragrance ingredient in high-quality natural perfumes, particularly oriental-type perfumes. Our Vanilla Bourbon Absolute has a Vanillin content of more than 3%.
